Taxonomy
Taitzuia abnormis was named by Zhang et al. (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is Shuiyu, Zhongtiao Mountains, upper bed 40, which is in a Wangcunian carbonate limestone/marl in the Zhangxia Formation of China.
