Omma elongatum

Taxonomy
Carabus elongatus was named by Brodie (1845). Its type specimen is NHM, IN. 3527, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Teffont, Vale of Wardour (Brodie collection), which is in a Berriasian terrestrial horizon in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Chalepocarabus elongatus by Handlirsch (1906), Ponomarenko (2006) and Kirejtshuk et al. (2016); it was recombined as Omma elongata by Crowson (1962); it was recombined as Omma elongatum by Kirejtshuk (2020).
