Taxonomy
Archipsylla liasina was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is GPI EMAU 112/75, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Martynov (1926); it was recombined as Archiconiopteryx liasina by Enderlein (1909), Handlirsch (1939), Ansorge (1996) and Ansorge (2003).
