Taxonomy
Palmerocrinus profundus was named by Moore and Strimple (1973). It is not extant. Its type specimen is OU 3913 (dorsal cup). Its type locality is Canyon Creek (Loc. 12), which is in a Morrowan marine limestone/sandstone in the Bloyd Formation of Oklahoma.
