Taxonomy
Samaroblatta incompleta was named by Vishnyakova (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 3793/138, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Oshin-Boro-Udzur-Ula (PIN collection 3792), which is in a Bathonian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Zhargalant Formation of Mongolia.
