Taxonomy
Mesoleuctra tibialis was named by Sinitshenkova (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 2009/3, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cheremza (PIN collection 2009), which is in a Pliensbachian terrestrial horizon in the Abasheva Formation of the Russian Federation.
