Colossocossus giganticus
Taxonomy
Colossocossus giganticus was named by Menon and Heads (2007). Its type specimen is MfN MB.I 2103, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MfNB collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
