Phyloblatta abdicata
Taxonomy
Gerablattina abdicata was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is USNM 38065, a tegmen (fragment of tegmen), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Cassville, which is in an Asselian terrestrial shale in the Cassville Shales Formation of West Virginia.
It was recombined as Phyloblatta abdicata by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
