Amoeboblatta permanenta
Taxonomy
Gerablattina permanenta was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is USNM 38064, a tegmen (fragment of tegmen), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Cassville, which is in an Asselian terrestrial shale in the Cassville Shales Formation of West Virginia. It is the type species of Amoeboblatta.
It was recombined as Amoeboblatta permanenta by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
