Taxonomy
Enteletes singularis was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is K31.750, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SSE of hill 2338 and NE of Ghundi, Middle Productus beds, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
