Taxonomy
Caerorhachis bairdi was named by Holmes and Carroll (1977). It is not extant. Its type locality is Burghlee Ironstone, Loanhead, Midlothian, which is in a Pendleian terrestrial ironstone/limestone in the Limestone Coal Formation of the United Kingdom.
