Taxonomy
Terebratuloidea trifida was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 16932, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is S of pt 2338 and 1 mile NE of Ghundi, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
