Pseudoreichelina was named by Miklukho-Maclay (1949) [Sepkoski's age data: P Sakm-u P Leon-u Sepkoski's reference number: 146].

It was assigned to Pseudoendothyridae by Leven (1992); to Pseudoendothyrinae by Davydov (1996); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Staffellidae by Kobayashi and Altiner (2008), Ueno et al. (2009) and Kobayashi (2011).
