Taxonomy
Martinia (Fredericksia) khurensis was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17062, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Just W. of Khura, K28.809-816, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian marine horizon in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
