Taxonomy
Palaeocorbula dubia was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17186, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chambalwala nala, Narsingphoar, marly beds, Salt Range, which is in a Capitanian carbonate marl in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
