Aviculopecten expositus
Taxonomy
Aviculopecten expositus was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17187, a valve (left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Banschang, No 2 bed, K29.720-798, E of Chhidru, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate marl in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
