Taxonomy
Tainoceras debile was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17236 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jabbi gorge, N of pt 976, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
