Taxonomy
Liroceras bakhense was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17242, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Main nala, SW of pt 2338, N of Ghundi, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine sandstone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
