Taxonomy
Trianguliperla volucris was named by Sinitshenkova (1998). Its type specimen is PIN 4626/110, a nymph (fragment of late instar nymph), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chernovskie Kopi; Outcrop 9 bed 2 (PIN collection 4626), which is in a Barremian lacustrine claystone in the Doronino Formation of the Russian Federation.
