Taxonomy
Hermaeomyia dubia was named by Mostovski (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 3901/361, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Obeshchayushchiy (PIN collection 3901), which is in a Campanian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Ola Formation of the Russian Federation.
