Taeniothaerus notabilis
Taxonomy
Productus (Taeniothaerus) notabilis was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 16847, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Middle of hill near pt. 1185, bed r slope, K30.183-211, Salt Range, which is in a Wordian marine sandstone in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Taeniothaerus notabilis by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960).
