Planothyris idonea
Taxonomy
Planothyris idonea was named by Glushenko (1975). Its type specimen is UkrNIIGaz 1/12-1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Skosyrskaya area, well 2323, 403 m depth, which is in an Asselian marine horizon in the Skosyrskaya Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Planothyris.
