Stiphromyrmex robustus
Taxonomy
Stigmomyrmex robustus was named by Mayr (1868). Its type specimen is B 18605, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland. It is the type species of Stiphromyrmex.
It was recombined as Stiphromyrmex robustus by Wheeler (1915), Spahr (1987) and Radchenko and Dlussky (2017).
