Coeloenellina was named by Polenova (1952) [Sepkoski's age data: O Llvi-l D Give-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Palaeocopida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Aparchitidae by Abushik and Evdokimova (2016).
