Taxonomy
Permopsyllidium quadrimediatum was named by Becker-Migdisova (1985). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 45329, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Belmont (BMNH collection), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia.
