Xeroptera obtusata
Taxonomy
Xeroptera obtusata was named by Bolton (1922). Its type specimen is British Museum, Johnson Collection, I. 1558, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Coseley, near Dudley (Johnson coll), which is in a Westphalian B interdistributary bay shale in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Xeroptera.
