Taxonomy
Archimylacris incisa was named by Bolton (1922). Its type specimen is British Museum, Johnson Collection, I. 15900, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Coseley, near Dudley (Johnson coll), which is in a Westphalian B interdistributary bay shale in the United Kingdom.
