Dilophosauripus williamsi
Taxonomy
Dilophosauripus williamsi was named by Welles (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UCMP 79690, a footprint (cast of footprint), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Moenave Road Tracksite, UCMP V67239, which is in a Hettangian terrestrial shale/sandstone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona.
