Taxonomy
Paradoxurus leucotis was named by Horsfield (1851). It is extant.

It was recombined as Arctogale leucotis by Blanford (1855) and Stone and Rehn (1902); it was recombined as Arctogalidia leucotis by Miller (1906) and Pocock (1933).
