Plesioidischia baentschi
Taxonomy
Plesioidischia baentschi was named by Schlechtendal (1906). Its type specimen is Naturhist Ver. Bonn, 46, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Nonnweiler near Birkenfeld-Nahe, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian fluvial-lacustrine shale in the Lebacher Schichten Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Plesioidischia.
