Pseudoperonopsis syrma was named by Opik (1979). It is not extant. Its type locality is M425. Northeast corner of Flora Downs, which is in a Floran marine siltstone/shale in the Inca Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Acadagnostus syrma by Naimark (2012).
