Taxonomy
Arthropterites klebsi was named by Wasmann (1926). Its type specimen is Klebs 6283, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Klebs collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Arthropterites.
