Taxonomy
Blattina manebachensis was named by Goldenberg (1869). It is an impression. Its type locality is Manebach, which is in a Stephanian C terrestrial schist in the Ottweiler Stufe Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Etoblattina manebachensis by Scudder (1879) and Scudder (1885); it was recombined as Phyloblatta manebachensis by Handlirsch (1906), von Schlechtendal (1913), Handlirsch (1920), Handlirsch (1922), Schneider (1978) and Schneider (1983).
