Liparoblatta ovata
Taxonomy
Gerablattina ovata was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is USNM 38170, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Cassville, which is in an Asselian terrestrial shale in the Cassville Shales Formation of West Virginia. It is the type species of Liparoblatta.
It was recombined as Liparoblatta ovata by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
