Acosmoblatta permacra
Taxonomy
Gerablattina permacra was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is USGS 2187(2188), a tegmen (almost complete tegmen), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Cassville, which is in an Asselian terrestrial shale in the Cassville Shales Formation of West Virginia. It is the type species of Acosmoblatta.
It was recombined as Acosmoblatta permacra by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
