Pleurotomaria (Ptychomphalus) kirillowensis was named by Licharew (1913). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pleurotomaria (Baylea) kirillowensis by Reed (1944); it was recombined as Peruvispira kirillowensis by Mazaev (2018).
