Halictus schemppi
Taxonomy
Prohalictus schemppi was named by Armbruster (1938). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Randeck Maar (Schempp collection), which is in a MN 5 crater lake lime mudstone in the Randeck Maar Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Prohalictus.
It was recombined as Halictus schemppi by Zeuner and Manning (1976).
