Pentagnostus bonnerensis
Taxonomy
Agnostus bonnerensis was named by Resser (1938). Its type specimen is USNM 95025 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 37n (Pend Oreille Lake), which is in a Cambrian carbonate limestone/shale in the Lakeview Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Peronopsis bonnerensis by Palmer and Halley (1979); it was recombined as Pentagnostus (Meragnostus) bonnerensis by Naimark (2012); it was recombined as Pentagnostus bonnerensis by Sundberg (2018) and Regalado Fernandez and Sour-Tovar (2022).
