Taxonomy
Zacanthoides adjunctus was named by Resser (1939) [Reidentified from part of Zacanthoides idahoensis (Walcott, 1908, pl. 3, fig. 7)]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 53429, a pygidium.
