Trionyx henrici
Taxonomy
Trionyx henrici was named by Owen and Bell (1849). Its type specimen is BMNH R30407, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hordle Cliff Crocodile Bed, Hampshire, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Headon Beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
