Redlichia (Pteroredlichia) was named by Chang (1966) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Tojo-u Sepkoski's reference number: 463]. It is not extant.

It was reranked as Pteroredlichia by Jell and Adrain (2002) and Sepkoski (2002).

It was assigned to Redlichia by Chang (1966); to Redlichiida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Redlichiidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
