Taxonomy
Productus (Urushtenia) permica was named by Licharew (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raskol Cliff, NW Caucasus, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Urushten Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Urushtenia permica by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960) and Nakamura (1979).
