D. Vachard and P. Moix 2013Cyanobacteria composed of a wide and large internal trichome and lateral smaller trichomes rectilinear or more or less helicoidally-coiled around the principal trichome. Several small tubes, rounded to crescentic in transverse section, are diversely arranged around a main, central tube. The tubes are rectilinear to slightly twisted in axial section. Wall micritic dark, tube filling microsparitic whitish; some microsparitization of the wall can occur.
