Xenoblatta ornatissima

Taxonomy
Etoblattina ornatissima was named by Deichmüller (1887). Its type specimen is SMF VI 2a, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Grügelborn near St. Wendel, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian terrestrial shale in Germany.

It was recombined as Deichmuelleria ornatissima by Handlirsch (1906); it was recombined as Phyloblatta ornatissima by Handlirsch (1920), Handlirsch (1922) and Guthörl (1934); it was recombined as Xenoblatta ornatissima by Schneider (1978) and Schneider (1983).
