Taxonomy
Strombina cricamola was named by Olsson (1922). Its type specimen is PRI 21056, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Water Cay [Cayo Agua Fm], which is in a Piacenzian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Cayo Agua Formation of Panama.
It was recombined as Strombina (Lirastrombina) cricamola by Jung (1989).
