Taxonomy
Lingula kedonensis was named by Dagys (1965). Its type specimen is IGiG 7/118 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Start River, upper Levyy Kedon River, Omolon Basin, which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
