Taxonomy
Dentospiriferina pepeliaevi was named by Dagys (1965). Its type specimen is IGiG 230/118 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yasachnaya River, left tributary of Kolyma River, which is in a Carnian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
