Taxonomy
Puknoblattina curvata was named by Sellards (1908). It is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, Sellards collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.

It was recombined as Pareinoblatta curvata by Handlirsch (1920); it was recombined as Pycnoblattina curvata by Tillyard (1937) and Zimmerman (1962); it was recombined as Phyloblatta curvata by Schneider (1983) and Schneider (1984).
