Planirhynchia atrita
Taxonomy
Piarorhynchia atrita was named by Dagys (1965). Its type specimen is IGiG 48/118 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Russkaya (Omolonskaya) River, Omolon Basin, which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Planirhynchia atrita by Dagys (1974) and Bychkov et al. (1976).
