Carinamala longispina

Taxonomy
Carinamala longispina was named by Palmer (1962). Its type specimen is USNM 143154, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Duck Creek [Raiff Limestone], which is in a Dresbachian marine limestone in the Raiff Limestone Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Carinamala.
